- Biography information for trainers

How Do You Use My Personal Data?
Your personal data may be used for one of the following purposes:
- Providing and managing your members area account.
- Providing and managing your ecommerce account.
- Reviewing any instructions received from you.
- Supplying our products and/or services to you.
- Personalising and tailoring our products and/or services for you.
- Communicating with you. This may include responding to emails or calls from you.
- Supplying you with information by email and/or post that you have opted-in to (you may unsubscribe or opt-out at any time).
- Communicating with harbour authorities, police, RNLI etc. for safety purposes.
- To distribute crucial information with regard to our services.
- Possible disciplinary processes.
With your permission and/or where permitted by law, we may also use your personal data for marketing purposes, which may include contacting you by email, telephone, text message and post with information, news, and offers on our products and/or services. You will not be sent any unlawful marketing or spam. We will always work to protect your rights and comply with our obligations under GDPR, and you will always have the opportunity to opt-out.~
Do You Share My Personal Data?
We may share your personal information with third parties where required by law, where it is necessary to administer the working relationship with you or where we have another legitimate interest in doing so.
What Are My Rights?
Data protection legislation gives you the below rights in relation to the personal data we hold about you:
- Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.
- Request correction of the personal information that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate information we hold about you corrected.
- Request erasure of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal information where there is no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal information where you have exercised your right to object to processing (see below).
- Object to processing of your personal information where we are relying on a legitimate interest (or those of a third party) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to processing on this ground. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal information for direct marketing purposes.
- Request the restriction of processing of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to suspend the processing of personal information about you, for example if you want us to establish its accuracy or the reason for processing it.
- Request the transfer of your personal information to another party.
- you can complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk if you think that we aren’t complying with our obligations regarding your personal information.
